TKA Rates Make Dramatic 10-Year Leap

September 3, 2015: The CDC reports that among US adults 45 and older, the rate of total knee arthroplasty (TKA) surgeries nearly doubled between 2000 and 2010, to a rate of 55.4 per 10,000 individuals.
