The following is information from the Alaska PT/OT Licensing Board. The role of the Licensing Board is to protect the consumers and patients of Alaska. Their recommendations and guidelines are in line with the Governor’s office and the Department of Health and Social Services and officials in those offices. HEALTH ALERT REGARDING USE OF CLOTH FACE COVERINGS – APRIL 3, 2020 

Current Alaska DHSS recommendations are to wear face masks in public. This would certainly apply for necessary patient interaction that is closer than 6 feet as well. Keep up the good work taking care of yourselves, your patients, and the community at large.
